I have a dream that making a guitar with wood from Hokkaido, my place or from domestic. Kaede wood (like a maple tree) is used for the body, and overseas parts are being used for the neck. This is the half and half of wood structure, so it is named 'halfmiles'.

Use of domestic manufacture parts for all was examined but overseas parts are being used too from the cost performance view.

北海道産または国内の木を使用してギターを製作する構想があります。 halfmiles guitar（ハーフマイルズ ギター） はその過程にあるもので、ボディにはカエデを使い、ネックについては海外パーツを使用しています。つまり半分は国内産であり、halfmiles（ハーフ マイルズ） と名づけています。

他パーツについても国産を考えたんですが、コストを考えて一部海外パーツを使ってます。
